1. Nature of Services
Fixit Carpentry provides custom carpentry, furniture manufacturing, installation, repair, and renovation services.
Because most of our work is made-to-order and customized, refunds and returns are subject to specific conditions outlined below.
2. Booking & Advance Payments
- A booking confirmation may require an advance payment or deposit.
- Advance payments are used for:
- Material procurement
- Design preparation
- Production scheduling
✅ Advance payments are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has started.
3. Order Cancellation Policy
Before Work Starts
- Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of booking for a full refund.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted via phone, email, or WhatsApp.
After Work Has Started
- If production, customization, or installation has begun, cancellation fees may apply.
- Costs already incurred for materials, labor, or logistics will be deducted.
4. Custom Furniture & Made-to-Order Items
Since our furniture and carpentry works are customized:
- Returns are not accepted for:
- Custom-made furniture
- Wardrobes and cabinets
- Built-in carpentry installations
- Personalized design projects
Unless:
- The product arrives damaged, or
- The delivered item significantly differs from approved specifications.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved under the following situations:
- Manufacturing defects
- Installation errors caused by our team
- Incorrect product delivered
- Service not completed as agreed
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days using the original payment method where possible.
6. Repairs & Service Adjustments
Instead of refunds, Fixit Carpentry may offer:
- Free repair or correction
- Replacement of defective parts
- Reinstallation or service adjustment
This ensures the fastest resolution for customers.
7. Inspection Requirement
Customers must inspect completed work at the time of handover or installation.
Any issues should be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
8. Warranty Coverage
Where applicable:
- Selected carpentry works include service warranty coverage.
- Warranty covers workmanship defects only.
- Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Water damage
- Misuse or accidental damage
- Unauthorized modifications
9. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind after production
- Incorrect measurements provided by client
- Color or finish variations within industry tolerance
- Delays caused by site readiness or customer availability
